  18. It depends on CD-ROM drive you use; for example Apple CD300 (that's Sony 
  19. CDU-8003) is capable to read audio data direct from the CD. Many cheap 
  20. CD-ROM drives can't do this. I think that SCSI-II is not needed, but may 
  21. help a lot (Apple CD300 is a SCSI-2 device...)

  23. There's a utility for that purpose on the Aminet. I can't remember it's 
  24. name right now, but it was something like "SCSIPlayer" or something else.
